Patrick Johnson Ngugi, born in Maryland, passed away suddenly in late September 2020 at the age of 28. He was born to Grace Ngugi and Timothy Johnson. He leaves behind his sister, Lisa Ngugi, along with close friends, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Patrick received his High School Diploma at Glen Burnie High and proceeded to join the United States Army to serve his country for four years before receiving an honorable discharge. Patrick went on to graduate with his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and had just started his MBA in California.
Patrick was a very outgoing, confident young man with an amazing smile and a gentle spirit. He was a very smart and dedicated student. He enjoyed many sports including soccer, football and basketball. Patrick loved to make his friends and family laugh, share a lot of beneficial life skills that he had acquired and always enjoyed making others smile.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue SW in Glen Burnie on Tuesday October 6th, from 4:00pm—8:00pm. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 40 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors. We ask that you please keep your visit brief, as there may be people waiting to get into the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, at 9:30am at The Church at Severn Run, 8187 Telegraph Road in Severn. This will be a celebration of life; come all as you are.
