William Meseke Jr

On July 18, 2006, William "Bill" Edward Meseke Jr., a lifelong resident of Linthicum, passed away at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Rebecca S. Linthicum Meseke for 64 years; Devoted father of Edward L. Meseke and Richard W. Meseke; Loving brother of Irvin Meseke; Cherished grandfather of five and great-grandfather of three. He was predeceased by one brother and two sisters. Bill graduated from Glen Burnie High School. He served his country during WWII as a member of the United States Army as a B24 Pilot. He was a self-employed home builder for 32 years. Bill was a member of the Masons Lodge #63, Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, Shriners, AARP and also a member of Linthicum Heights UMC. He had been active with the Boy Scouts and the Linthicum Travelers. Bill enjoyed camping, square dancing and being involved with his church. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family and was truly a devoted family man. A Memorial Service will be held at the Linthicum Heights UMC at a later date.
