William Johnson

On March 17, 2006, William H. "Wee" Johnson, passed on. William was a resident of Glen Burnie for 10 years. He had previously resided in Baltimore. He was the beloved companion of Mildred Bruchey; devoted father of Kathleen Ryan, Jack Bruchey, David Bruchey, Arlene Austin and the late William Johnson Jr. and Lorraine Swann; the loving brother of John Johnson, Agnes Reid, Mary Ringrose, Fannie Kelly, Colleen Edvingen and Andrew, David, Michael, Louis and Violet Johnson and the late Andrew "Buzz" Johnson and Joseph Johnson; the cherished grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 25. William was also predeceased by his wife of 17 years, Catherine M. Johnson. William was a member of the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 during World War II. He then worked for Automatic Sprinkler as a sprinkler installer for 40 years. William was a member of the American Legion Post 195. He had many hobbies which included fishing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. William will be missed by many people who loved him dearly.
