William Hubers Obituary

On February 17, 2006, William J. Hubers of Ferndale passed away at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Mary E. Hubers; Devoted father of John E. "Eddie" Hubers and his wife Carol; Dearest brother of Alma Poteet and the late John T. Hubers, Kenneth C. Hubers and Anna Seibert; Cherished grandfather of Jaclyn Nicole "Nicki" Hubers-Hall, Jennifer Lynn Hubers and John Edward Joseph Hubers and dearest great-grandfather of Morgan Elizabeth Hall. William worked for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, Ferndale Station, until he retired. He also owned and operated Hubers Bus Service for 46 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Glen Burnie, the American Legion, the V.F.W., the Moose Club in GLen Burnie and the Ferndale Community Club. He served his country in the United States Navy. William enjoyed working on the buses. He was well known in his community and will be missed by so many.
