William Berger

On Saturday, February 11, 2006, William "Russ" Berger passed away at his home in Glen Burnie. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Mildred, and beloved daughter, Christine Lienesch. He is also survived by his dear sisters, Mildred Murphy and Ethel Pack. Russ was preced in death by his daughter, Cindy Berger, and five brothers, Mickey, Robert, Elmer, Edward and Herman Berger. Russ was born in Westport Baltimoreand worked for his father before going into the Navy. He then became a fire fighter and then finally worked at Fort Meade as a housing inspector. He was a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. Russ enjoyed playing tennis, working in the yard, cutting the lawn, baseball and following Notre Dame sports.
