William Benden Obituary
On July 25, 2005 William Lee "Bill" Benden of Glen Burnie. Beloved husband of the late Anna M. Benden; Loving son of Cecil R. Rhodes and the late Amanda E. Rhodes (nee Bush); Caring brother of Robin E. Carpenter. He is also survived by many loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
Bill served his country in the U.S. Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a stationary engineer for the Anne Arundel County Public School District for 30 years until he retired. Bill was a member of the Moose, the school union and the NRA. He enjoyed going to Charlestown, playing the slot machines, visiting Atlantic City, gardening, spending time near the water and also being with his friends.
