William Armiger Jr

On April 8, 2006, William "Bill" L. Armiger of Ocean City, formerly of Linthicum, passed away at the age of 74. Devoted husband of 53 years to Nancy L. Armiger; Beloved father of Ronald W. Armiger and the late Robert L. Armiger; Loving brother of Alice L. Wright and Betty E. Newbill; Cherished grandfather of Tracey, Robert, Katie, Nicole and Matthew Armiger and great-grandfather of Colin Armiger. Bill worked for C&P Telephone as a Line Repairman for almost 38 years before retiring. He served his country in the United States Army. Bill was a member of Linthicum Heights UMC and the Telephone Pioneers. He helped coach the Linthicum Little League and enjoyed attending Orioles games with his sons. Bill liked to bowl and was a member of a duckpin bowling league. He enjoyed working out in the yard and watching sports and the Price Is Right on TV. Bill will be missed by many.
