Virginia Ann Baker

July 11, 1917 — May 2, 2019

Virginia Ann Baker, 101, of Catonsville, passed away on May 2, 2019. She was born in Clarksburg, WV to the late Frank and Concetta Verdigone. Virginia worked at Crown Cork and Seal as a teletype operator for over 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Baker.

Virginia is survived by her loving daughter, Jo-Ann F. Physioc and her husband, Gil; and two cherished grandchildren, Kimberly Willinghan and her husband, James, Patrick Physioc and his wife, Nikki.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, on Monday, May 6th, from 6-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10 AM, at St. Clements Catholic Church. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
