Violet Peterson

Violet Bartlett Peterson, 81, of Virginia Beach passed away peacefully on September 2, 2006 in the comfort of her home. Prior to moving to Virginia Beach, Violet lived in Linthicum and Glen Burnie for 67 years. She was the daughter of the late Roland K. Bartlett and Amelia "Mollie" Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, of 42 years, Howard E. Peterson. Violet is also pre-deceased by two brothers, George and Pete Bartlett, and two sisters, Doris Saunders and Eileen Wagner. She is survived by one son, Howard D. Peterson and his wife Michele, of Severn; two daughters of Virginia Beach, Sherry Neubauer and her husband Cliff, and Linda Staehling; three grandchildren, Randy Staehling and his wife Kristen, Karey Lohndorf and her husband Victor, and Chad L. Neubauer; four great-grandchildren, Michael and Koryn Staehling, and Brandon and Farren Lohndorf. Let's not forget her prized yorkie, Tikki.
