On July 21, 2006, Shirley Pearl Merson of Severn passed away at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late John H. Merson and loving companion of Sidney McHenry for 15 years; Cherished mother of Rebecca M. Galloway, Linda D. Denton and Lisa L. McHenry; Dearest sister of Jim Jackson, Katherine Callahan, Ruth Woods and the late Thelma Smith and Sonny, Jack, Howard and Russell Jackson; Adoring grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of 9. She is predeceased by three great-grandchildren. Shirley was a cooked and worked for a few different restaurants, including The Sunset. She enjoyed taking photographs, dancing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
