On January 27, 2006, Richard L. Barnes, a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie, suddenly passed away. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Millie L. Barnes; he was a devoted father to Sharon Pumphrey and her husband Tim; loving uncle to Janet Lynn Barnes and Larry Joines; cherished great uncle to Danny, Michael, and Dawn Joines; he is also survived by one sister and was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. In his spare time, he enjoyed movies, carpentry, woodworking, building, any physical outdoor activities, and loved spending time with his family.
