Phyllis C. Hein, 77, of Pasadena, passed away peacefully at home on May 31, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Helen Louke.
Phyllis shared a loving marriage with her husband, Ernie, and together they enjoyed many years as members of the Lost in the 50's Car Club. She had a deep love for animals and found great happiness in nature, especially watching the foxes and raccoons that visited her backyard. She never missed an opportunity to feed and care for the wildlife she cherished.
Above all else, Phyllis treasured her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved, especially her grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Richard Louke.
Phyllis is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Ernie Hein; loving children, Stephanie Reagan, Andrew Hein and his wife, Melanie; and her cherished grandchildren, Caleb Reagan, Andrew J. Hein Jr., Chloe Reagan, Holly Reagan and Tyler Hein. She will also be missed by her dear siblings, Margaret Johnson, Barbara Bolstridge, Charles Louke, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services on Tuesday, June 16th, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 10 am, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to immediately follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
