Paula Dorothy Howard, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted friend, peacefully passed away on May 9, 2026, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Born on June 18, 1974, in Baltimore, Maryland, Paula’s life, was marked by grace, dedication, and a deep love for those around her.
Paula was a devoted professional who proudly served the Motor Vehicle Administration for 18 years. Throughout her career, she held several positions and worked her way up to the role of DUI processor, exemplifying her commitment and perseverance. She was driven not only by her work but also continuously by her thirst for knowledge, earning an Associate's degree from Anne Arundel Community College—a testament to her determination and ambition.
Beyond her professional achievements, Paula’s heart belonged to the simpler joys of life. An avid reader, she found comfort in the pages of countless books, allowing her imagination and spirit to soar. She was a passionate animal lover, with a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, who brought endless joy and companionship into her life. Her garden was another sanctuary—a vibrant collection of flowers, plants, fruits, and vegetables that mirrored her nurturing and patient nature.
Paula’s family was the center of her universe. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Alan T. Howard, who stood by her side through life's journeys. Their family blossomed with her step-son, Bradley Howard, and his wife Madeline, and was further enriched by their grandchildren, Jace and a precious little one on the way, each carrying forward Paula’s legacy wrapped in love. She is also survived by her siblings—Bonnie Seibel, Arthur Seibel; sisters-in-law, Shirley Tatroe, and Lillian Gill—and her mother, Dorothy Seibel, along with multiple nieces & nephews. These close bonds reflected Paula’s generous spirit and deep devotion to family.
Paula’s passing also marks a reunion with her late father, Arthur Seibel, Jr., whose memory she carried fondly in her heart.
Her loved ones will always remember her kindness, her smile, and the warmth she spread so effortlessly. Paula’s life touched many, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
