Nancy Lee Williams

Nancy Lee Williams, born on December 31, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, and passing away on June 21, 2026, in Linthicum, Maryland, lived a life marked by thoughtfulness, devotion, and quiet grace.

She was the beloved daughter of Naomi and William Williams, both deceased, and the cherished sister of Gary D. Williams (sister-in-law, Diana) and Tracey A. Williams.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Holly M. Williams.  Nancy treasured her family deeply and carried those bonds with her throughout her life, always remembering the people who shaped her and those she loved in return.  She was a proud aunt to Michael Gary David Williams and Megan Ashley Carter Williams, and she delighted in the joy brought by her great-niece, Saylor Grace Noelle Williams.

Nancy grew up in Baltimore and developed the steady, caring nature that would come to define her.  She pursued her education with determination and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland College Park, a milestone that reflected both her commitment to learning and her desire to build a meaningful life.  Her education opened the door to a career and a calling centered on service, responsibility, and kindness.

For many years, Nancy served as a Pharmacy Buyer for the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where her reliability and attention to detail were deeply valued.  She approached her work with professionalism and care, understanding the importance of her role in supporting the health and well-being of others.  Her colleagues knew her as someone who could be counted on, someone who handled responsibilities with calm competence and a thoughtful spirit.

In addition to her work in healthcare, Nancy gave her time and energy to helping others in the community.  She worked as a substitute teacher in Anne Arundel County Public Schools, where her presence made a difference in the lives of students and staff alike.  She also volunteered at the Linthicum library, offering her time in a place that reflected her love of learning and her appreciation for community.  Her willingness to serve in these ways spoke to the generous and considerate person she was.

Nancy found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life.  She enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing, and traveling, and each of these interests reflected a part of her personality.  In the kitchen, she created comfort and care.  Through reading, she continued to explore ideas and stories.  Sewing allowed her patience and creativity to shine.  Traveling gave her the chance to see new places and experience the world with curiosity and appreciation.  These interests enriched her life and brought happiness to those who knew her best.

Nancy Lee Williams leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion.  Her memory will be cherished by her brother, sister, nephew, niece, and great-niece, as well as by all who were touched by her kindness and warmth.  Though she is no longer physically present, the impact of her life endures in the lives she influenced, the work she performed, and the love she shared.
