June Harriet Phillips, 92, of Glen Burnie,  passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020, at her home.  She was born on June 22, 1927, in Steelton, Pennsylvania, to the late Anna and George Sierer.  She worked for the Maryland Department of Corrections for 20 years as a Records Supervisor.  June was an avid reader and she enjoyed bowling.  But most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson.

June was predeceased by her devoted husband of 65 years, Alvin J. Phillips, Jr. and her three loving sisters.  She is survived by her beloved children, JoEllen P. Staicer  and Alvin “Butch” Phillips, III; her dear son-in-law, Michael D. Staicer, Jr.; and her cherished grandson, Cole R. Phillips.  She is also survived by many  nieces & nephews.

The family requests that the services for Mrs. June be PRIVATE.
