Obituary
Michael J. Ruppert, 70 of Glen Burnie passed away at MedStar Harbor Hospital on May 3, 2022 from dementia. He was born on June 10, 1951 to the late John and Edwina Ruppert in South Baltimore. Michael was a graduate of Northeast High School, Class of 1969 and was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from Giant Food Inc. after 37 years of service. Michael enjoyed fishing, loved the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. He loved the Lord and reading his Bible.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia “Ginny” Louise Ruppert; his siblings, Tom and Brian Ruppert of Florida, and Michele Ruppert of California; and his father-in-law, Arthur R. Hoffman.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Monday, May 9th from 12-1 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Don White. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park to follow.
Memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
