Melissa Spicer Obituary

On December 22, 2005, Melissa S. Spencer passed away. Melissa lived a long and happy life. She will be greatly missed by her children, Edgar B. Sellers and his wife, Brenda; her daughter, Anne Brownson and her husband Jack; her sister, Mary Helen Farmer and her husband, Guy; and her 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Melissa worked for Westinghouse as an Executive Secretary until she retired in 1975. She was also a member of the Linthicum Women's Club, the AARP, the Eastern Star, the Pascal Center and the Baltimore City and Brooklyn Park Civic Leagues. Melissa volunteered at the Church Home and Hospital, Harbor Hospital and at RSVP. Melissa enjoyed many hobbies, including watching sports on TV: baseball, football, NASCAR, and she never missed a horse race. She also followed the careers of high school athletes who made it to the pro's.
