Maria Ann Guarnera

Maria Ann Guarnera, 41, of Linthicum, Maryland, passed away on July 20, 2021.  Maria was born in Baltimore, on January 19, 1980, to Mary Beth Kelly.

Maria is survived by her devoted husband of 12 years, Richard J. Guarnera, III; her cherished children, Camryn (10) and Caleb (6); her loving mom, Mary Beth Kelly; her dear parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Richard Guarnera, Jr.; and many extended family & friends.

Maria earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland University College. She worked at the University of Maryland, Baltimore for 12 years as the Research Laboratory Manager in the Department of Pathology managing her time between the University of Maryland Medical Center and the VA Medical Center.

Maria’s most loved times were with Camryn & Caleb, and their many activities.  Whether it was Maryland United soccer, LF baseball, school or Catholic Church activities, Maria was always there for her daughter and son.  And when not busy outside the home, Maria and the family would be found singing or dancing around the family home.  She was active in the Linthicum community, enjoyed reading and spending time at the beach; she was a Raven fan, an Oriole fan, and a strong supporter of Notre Dame football.  She enjoyed a good social event and her smile brightened up any occasion.

Maria will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, daughter, family member and a true friend….she was good hearted and kind…. to know her was to love her.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1  2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, July 28th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 29th, at 10 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Linthicum.  Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
