Margaret Alice Storey, 82, of Baltimore, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026.
Born in Baltimore, she was the loving daughter of the late Alice E. and Joseph T. Wehberg Sr. Margaret was the proud owner of Hearts N Twined in South Baltimore for many years, where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and warm spirit.
A devout Catholic, Margaret was a longtime member and Sacristan of Holy Cross Church. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she faithfully served her church community with humility and devotion.
Margaret enjoyed food canning, gardening, decorating for holidays and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her strong faith, caring heart, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, William Frederick Storey Sr.; her son William (Billy) Storey Jr.; and her granddaughter, Kimberly.
Margaret is survived by her loving children, Margaret Walker and her husband Scott, Katherine (Kate) Walker and her husband Kevin, John Storey and his wife Mindy, Elizabeth (Liz) Sharp and her husband Willie, Thomas (Tommy) Storey and his wife Rebekah, Joseph (Joe) Storey and Mary Alice. She will also be missed by her cherished grandchildren, Phillip, Jennie, Joey, Sierra, Felicia, Samantha, Sara, Emmy, Andrew, Renee, Julia, Nicholas, Noah, Titan, Everly, Cailyn, Farah, Bryan and Ricky; six adored great-grandchildren; and her dear siblings, Mary Jo Kwiatkowski, Elizabeth Linsky and her husband Tom, Cathy Houck and her husband Steve, and Joseph Wehberg Sr.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, May 26th, from 5 – 8 pm at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), Glen Burnie, MD 21061. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27th, 10 am, at Holy Cross Church, 110 East West Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Interment to immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, MD. A celebration of life will be held at Christ the King hall, 7434 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. Glen Burnie, MD 21061
