Margaret Kiernan

On June 14, 2006, Margaret D. Smith Kiernan passed on. Margaret was a lovely woman who will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George E. Smith, Jr. to whom she was married for 45 years. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Frank Kiernan, to whom she was married for five years. Margaret is survived by her son, Kenneth Smith; her sisters, Rose Bruce, Sarah Horrigan, Dora Gatton, and Frances Dalfonzo; her granddaughters, Cindy Palmer, Stacy Lawhorn and Susan Jens; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Margaret was preceded in death by her son, George E. Smith, III, three brothers and five sisters. Margaret was a resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland for over 50 years. She was employed as a Supervisor for U.S. Industries for over 20 years. She enjoyed many memberships. She was a member of the Sedality of Holy Trinity, the Senior Citizens Club of Holy Trinity, and the Ladies of the Moose and Elks Lodge. Margaret enjoyed many hobbies. She was an avid bowler, loved playing bingo, travelling, and was a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles.
