Lyndon Givens Obituary

On June 14, 2006, Lyndon S. Givens of Severn passed away at home. Devoted husband for 62 years to Helen J. Givens (nee Kessler); Beloved father of Stanley W. Givens, Lynda C. Shawkey and Brenda J. Bullion; Loving brother of Virginia Carr, Shirley Stover, Carole Harding and the late Morris and Samuel Givens; Cherished grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 8. Lyndon was a diesel mechanic and attended the Temple Diesel School for four years in Tennessee. He worked for Cummings Diesel and later retired from Rollins Trucking. After retirement, he owned his own mailing business for many years. Lyndon and Helen were foster parents for 25 years. He enjoyed driving, fishing and watching baseball games.
