On January 1, 2006, Lula "Lu" Mae Burkindine of Glen Burnie. Beloved wife of George W. Burkindine for 59 years; Devoted mother of William H. Burkindine and his wife Karen, Gary K. Burkindine and his wife Dona, Colleen M. Pettus and her husband Edward and the late Linda A. Burkindine; Dearest sister of the late Lillian Zoeller; Loving Aunt of Geraldine Burton; Cherished grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 11.
Lula was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge #1456. Lula enjoyed bingo, wathcing game shows (especially Wheel of Fortune), spending time at her church and taking care of her family.
