Lorraine Doniecki Obituary

Lorraine Mildred Doniecki, born on January 31, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland, and called home to the Lord on July 17, 2026, in Linthicum, Maryland, lived a life marked by faith, devotion, and deep love for her family.

She was the beloved wife of Edward James Doniecki, who preceded her in death after 61 years of marriage. Their union was a beautiful example of steadfast commitment, shared faith, and enduring love. Together they built a home centered on Christian values, warmth, and devotion to one another and to those they cherished most.

Lorraine was the loving mother of Cindy Miller, Deneen Wysocki, and John Doniecki. She treasured her children deeply and took great joy in their lives, their accomplishments, and the families they built. Her love as a mother was steady, selfless, and unconditional, and her presence was a source of comfort and strength throughout their lives.

She was the cherished grandmother of Josh Miller, Garrett Miller, Dalton Miller, Elijah Miller, and Michalina Miller, Edward Wysocki, Joey Wysocki, Steven Wysocki, Josh Branham, Abby House, and Emilee Doniecki. Lorraine delighted in each of her grandchildren and held a special place in her heart for them all. She was also the loving great-grandmother of 12 with two more great-grandchildren on the way. Her family was her greatest earthly blessing, and she embraced each generation with tenderness, pride, and joy.

A proud graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore, Lorraine carried with her the values of discipline, grace, and faith that shaped her throughout her life. She was deeply proud of her Polish Catholic heritage and spoke with gratitude about the incredibly blessed upbringing she received. Her roots remained an important part of who she was, and her faith and traditions were reflected in the way she lived each day.

Lorraine served others through her work as a Medical Technologist, where she applied her knowledge and skill with care and dedication. Her professional life reflected her commitment to helping others, and she carried herself with quiet competence and integrity. Those who knew her understood that she approached her responsibilities with diligence and a sincere desire to do good.

Lorraine had many interests that brought joy to her days. She loved cooking and found happiness in preparing meals that brought family together. She enjoyed going to the beach and appreciated the peace and beauty of God’s creation. She was also a gifted painter, expressing her creativity through art with remarkable talent and sensitivity. Above all, she loved her family, and her greatest joy came from being with those she held dear.

Those who knew Lorraine will remember her as a loving woman whose kindness touched many lives. She was gentle in spirit, generous in heart, and steadfast in her devotion to those around her. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will remain a source of comfort and gratitude to all who were privileged to know her.

Though she is no longer with us in body, Lorraine’s legacy of faith, love, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who loved her. May she rest in the eternal peace of Christ, reunited with those who have gone before her, and forever held in the loving embrace of her Savior.
