Lillian "Page" Wacker, 82, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, following an extended illness. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Alma L. Rosskopf and John Rosskopf, Jr., Page was known for her kindness and her ability to offer a steady, listening ear to anyone who needed it. She loved flowers and spent much of her free time working on her home gardens, which became the envy of the neighborhood.
Page was deeply dedicated to her 57-year career as a Medical Technician at Baltimore Washington Medical Center (formerly North Arundel Hospital). For nearly 20 years, she was the Lead Medical Technician in Chemistry, where she focused on training new employees and sharing her historic knowledge as the hospital expanded. She was a trusted colleague who rarely missed a day of work outside of the births of her children and family emergencies, building close, lasting friendships with her coworkers over the decades.
At home, Page balanced her career and family life with her husband, Les, without missing a beat. Her dedication to her community showed in her many volunteer roles, including serving as PTA President for nine years, a Girl Scout Assistant Troop Leader, and Co-Leader of the Pacesetters 4-H Club. She also spent six years as the Treasurer of the Old Mill High School Band Boosters, where she formed lifelong friendships. Page gave her time and energy to her family, work, and community without hesitation, never expected anything in return. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lester Wacker; her daughters, Lesley Wallace and Cindy Bouchard; her sister, Susan Etheridge; her sons-in-law, Roy Wallace and Rich Bouchard; brother-in-law, Michael Etheridge; nephew, John Etheridge; niece, Kellie Rich; three grandchildren, Dylan Wallace, Samantha Wallace, and Casey Bouchard; step-son and wife, Russ and Betsy Ridgway.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and again from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will take place the following day on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 1:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
