Kenneth Ray Russell, 75, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, to the late Delphia and Harry Russell. Kenneth worked as a carpenter and was very proud that he had a hand in building the Ft. McHenry Tunnel in Baltimore. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and crabbing, but most of all, he loved being with his family.
Kenneth married the love his life, Norma J. Russell, and together raised two children, Tammy Hupfl and Allen Wayne Harris. In addition, Kenny is survived by his cherished grandchildren, Troy James Erdman, Haley Harris, Mekenzie Hupfl, Yuri Harris, Shyanne Harris, and Owen Hupfl; three adored great-grandchildren; his dear siblings, Mary Lou Sheppard, Glenn Russell, and Judy Lacoss; and his faithful companions, Oliver and Willow, aka “Princess.” In addition to his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his siblings, Edward Russell, Ronald Russell, Frank Russell, and Betty Reincke Farley.
Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering, at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Sunday, May 7th, from 2-3 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kenneth’s name are requested to be made to American Lung Association at www.lung.org
