Joyce Dawson

Joyce Dawson, 88, of Blades, Delaware, passed away at her home on July 22, 2026. Born in Baltimore, she was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Vetters.

A talented painter, she also loved crocheting and sewing. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joseph Dawson and her beloved son, David Dawson.

Joyce is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Fisher; cherished grandchildren, Brian Dawson, Brad Dawson, Stephanie Jaskulski, Jake Dawson, Joshua Mitchell, and Kaitlin Mitchell; her adored great-grandchildren, Phillip Dawson, Jaylynn Pheulpin, Jaxon Dawson, Briana Dawson, William Dawson, Penny Dawson, Mallory Jaskulski, Tyler Jaskulski, Riely Clark, Dayton Dawson, Charlotte Mitchell, and Oliver Mitchell; and her dear sister, Cheryl Brownawell.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services on Tuesday, August 4th, from 10 am – 12 pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
