Joseph Dillon, Sr

Joseph Romanus Dillon, Sr. passed from this life on Monday, July 31, 2006 in Plano, Texas. He was born July 21, 1920 to Edward James and Mary Bernadette Dillon in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He married Virginia Leight on May 6, 1940 and they were married for 66 years. Though he will be dearly missed, his family celebrates the blessings of a life well lived. His example of unconditional love and support will live on in each of his offspring. He is survived by his wife, Virginia of Plano, Texas; his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph & Shirley Dillon of Severn, MD; his daughter, Mary Arthes, of Wyomissing, PA; his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia & John Stroh, of Plano, TX; his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Douglas Flaherty, of Ocean Pines, MD; his eleven grandchildren; and his twenty great-grandchildren.
