John Harman

John W. Harman, 100 years old, of Rock Hall, MD formally Severn, MD passed away on August 02, 2022. He was born in Rock Hall on March 06, 1922 to the late Anna R. Rich and John W. Harman. Upon graduating high school, he served in the US Army during WWII and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant from the 866th Bombardment Squadron on 15 January 1946. After his military service, he settled in the Baltimore area and began a long career with Perfect Auto Body. John married Katherine L. Clark on December 26, 1946 and moved to Severn. When not at work, John enjoyed working in his garage where he repaired and painted cars and trucks for countless friends and residents in the Severn area. After retirement he and Katherine moved to Rock Hall and traveled to Brownsville, Texas in the winter.

In addition to his parents, John is proceeded in death by his wife Katherine of 72 years, brother Tommy Harman, sisters Dorothy Hardt and Evelyn Blevins, and brother in-law Norman W. Clark Jr. He is survived by two sons Randy Harman and his wife Audrey and Craig Harman and his wife Kathy; his grandchildren Sarah Crawford (Jason), Sherri Abrahamson (Jon), Ashley Deysher (Chris), Nick Harman (Ellen Rose), Rachel Manning (Rob), and Patricia Redmiles (Kyle); his great-grandchildren Lucas Crawford, Emma Crawford, Ava Abrahamson, Eliana Abrahamson, Abby Deysher, Mackenzie Deysher, Everett Harman, Noah Harman, Logan Manning, and Hayden Redmiles; also his sister-in-law Betty Clark, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private.
