John Bancroft

On May 19, 2006 John E. "Jack" Bancroft of Glen Burnie, MD. Devoted husband of Jacqueline Bancroft for 55 years. Loving father of Diane Neighoff and Whitney Jordan. Caring brother to Gary and Kenneth Bancroft. He was also survived by 3 grandsons: David Neighoff, Connor and Kevin Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Alice Bancroft.

Jack attended Catonsville High School then graduated from the Baltimore College of Commerce with a B.A. in Accounting. He worked as an accountant for the Clendenin Brothers before becoming general manager for CS Metals, where he retired. Jack also served his country in the US Navy from 1951-1957 in which he received the National Defense Service Medal, the Navy Occupation Service medal with European clasp, and a Good Conduct Medal. He was a Member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge, former member of the Hi-Lo and Bay Hills Golf Clubs. Jack was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching sports, but most of all liked spending time with his grandchildren.
