Jennie Lee Anderson

Jennie Lee Anderson passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, in Pasadena, Maryland, at the age of 92. While her family grieves her loss, they also celebrate a life well lived—a life marked by love, laughter, hard work, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

Jennie was born on May 10, 1934, in North Carolina to the late Pink William Young and Hettie Mae Young (Gouge). She was raised with strong values that remained with her throughout her life, shaping the compassionate, hardworking, and generous woman so many came to know and love.

For many years, Jennie worked at Western Electric, where she took tremendous pride in her work. She was known for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic, earning the respect of those who worked alongside her.

Outside of work, Jennie truly embraced life. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger and could brighten any room with her warm smile and welcoming personality. She loved gathering with friends for games of Bingo, found great joy tending to her garden, and delighted in keeping her mind sharp with word searches and spirited games of Scrabble. Whether she was sharing stories, laughing with loved ones, or enjoying life's simple pleasures, Jennie had a remarkable way of making every moment special.

Above all else, Jennie's greatest love was her family. She was the heart of her family—a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and adoring great-grandmother. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. She celebrated every milestone, offered wisdom through life's challenges, and made each family member feel deeply loved. The memories she created and the values she instilled will continue to live on for generations.

Jennie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Edmund Anderson, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Marilyn Sears; her precious baby angel, Sharon Anderson; and her beloved grandson, Gregory Sears.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Young, J.C. Young, Edwin Young, Leo Young, and Bill Young, as well as her sisters, Virginia Bach and Betty Marquardt.

Jennie leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory: her daughter, Diana Razumich and husband Jerry; her son, Keith Anderson and wife Stacy; son-in-law, Robbie Sears, granddaughter-in-law, Sarah Sears, her grandchildren, Daniel Sears and husband John, Joshua Razumich and wife Ashley, Jessica Razumich Bergersen, Micala Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Alyssa Hynson, and Samantha McGraw; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Kevin Sears, Brody Bergersen, Jackson Razumich, and Rhett Razumich. She also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, and neighbors whose lives were enriched by her kindness and friendship.

Jennie's legacy is one of unconditional love, resilience, generosity, and joy. She taught those around her the importance of family, hard work, kindness, and finding happiness in life's simple moments. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to shine through the stories shared around family tables, the flowers that bloom in the garden, the excitement of a Bingo game, and every Scrabble board that brings loved ones together.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Jennie has been reunited with those who went before her and is now at peace. Her memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.

A visitation to honor Jennie’s life will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again at 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services P.A., located at 1 2nd Ave SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. A Service will take place the following day, Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment immediately to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD.
