Jeffery Wayne Bradford, a gifted painter by trade, and a man whose spirit was as vibrant as the colors he so skillfully wielded, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Stevensville, Maryland. Born on October 2, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland, Jeffery’s life was a remarkable journey of creativity, faith, and love.
Jeffery’s artistic soul flourished through his deep passion for music. An accomplished guitar player, he found solace and expression in both performing and writing music, weaving melodies that spoke to the depths of the human experience. His talents extended beyond the strings of his guitar; he was a talented drawer with an eye for detail and a heart full of imagination. His love for classic horror films revealed a playful and curious side, enjoying the suspense and stories that captured his attention. Above all, Jeffery was a devout Christian, committing himself daily to his devotionals, grounding his life in faith and reflection. Jeff also enjoyed history and genealogy, tracing his family roots all the way back to the 1600’s.
Born into the loving family of Elizabeth and William Bradford, who preceded him in death, Jeffery grew up surrounded by love and encouragement. Though his parents and beloved brother-in-law, John Cook, have gone before him, his memory lives on vividly among those who knew and cherished him.
Jeffery leaves behind a close-knit family who held him dear: his sisters Debra Cook and Latishia Robert Moore, and his brothers Michael Sue Bradford and Rick Rosemary Bradford. Alongside them are many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews who felt the warmth of his generous spirit and the light of his guidance.
In reflecting on Jeffery’s life, one is touched by the multifaceted nature of a man who embraced art, music, faith, and family with equal passion. His legacy is one of beauty, kindness, and dedication—a tapestry woven through every brushstroke, every chord played, and every heartfelt prayer.
Jeffery Wayne Bradford will be remembered not only for his remarkable talents but also for his gentle heart and unwavering faith. Though he has left this world, the echoes of his music, the vivid colors of his paintings, and the memories of his warmth remain indelible in the hearts of his family and loved ones. His journey may have ended, but the beauty he created and the love he shared will live on forever.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 28th, at 12 noon at Singleton Celebration Center, 206 Crain Highway, S. (right next door to Singleton Funeral Home) in Glen Burnie.
