James Dewitt, Jr

On March 9, 2006, James Melvin DeWitt, Jr. passed on. James is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jean H. DeWitt; his daughters, Linda DeWitt Shubert, Patty Lynn Hartley and April Sue Zaletel; his sisters, Billie Dove Agee, Joyce L. Thacker, Mary Frances DeWitt and Desira Deane DeWitt; his brother, Dwight Douglas DeWitt; and his grandchildren, Ian and Ryan Jewett, Laura and Timothy Zaletel, and Megan Pumphrey. James was predeceased by his sister, Faye Weber; his mother, Katie Elizabeth Reynolds; and his father, James Melvin DeWitt, Sr. James was in the US Army from 1951 through 1954. He was a Healthe Aide for the Spring Grove Hospital for 38 years. James was a member of the Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. He enjoyed many hobbied, including gardening, watching sports, walking, and playing with animals - especially dogs and cats. James' favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren.
