Pasadena

Jacob “Jake” Parker, 26, of Pasadena, passed away on March 23, 2020. He was born on November 24, 1993 to George and Lisa Parker in Annapolis, Maryland. Jake was a graduate from Chesapeake High School, and attended classes at AACC. While growing up Jake traveled extensively throughout Europe with his family, they actually lived in Germany for 3 years. Jake was known for his love of music, he often played the electric, acoustic and bass guitar. You could also find him outside, whether it was snowboarding, fishing, skateboarding, or mountain biking, he loved it all. He was also a big fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and enjoyed watching them on the ice. One word to describe Jake best is a “Hero”. Jake saved 4 lives with organ donation. He gave the incredible gift of his heart that saved a 59 year old woman, the gift of his liver to a 52 year old man, right kidney to a 35 year old woman and left kidney to a 40 year old woman. These families will be forever grateful for the gifts that Jake was able to give. Jake is survived by his loving parents, George and Lisa Parker, his brothers George and Jeremiah Parker, Grandfather, Marion Banke Jr., Aunt, Dr. Cheryl Wilkes (Jim), Uncle, Kenneth Banke (Connie) and Aunt, Judith Byrne. He was predeceased by his Grandparents, Edith and George Parker, and his grandmother, Jeanne Banke.  In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made to Living Legacy Foundation on behalf of Jake.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
