Jack Gilbert passed away on August 11, 2005. He was 92 years of age. He is survived by his daugher, Jacquelyn Tepper, and his son-in-law, Theodore Tepper. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 46 years, Carrie Gilbert.
Jack was in the United States Army for 32 years. For 22 of those years in the service, he was a master sergeant in the United States Army Field Band. Jack was a member of the American Legion, Post 40, Musical Union, Retired Enlisted Association, AARP, American Military Society, and the NAU National Association for Uniformed Services. He enjoyed sailing, reading, and making people laugh.
