Iva Hale

On June 26, 2006, Iva Idella Hale passed on. Iva is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Samuel E. Hale; her lovely daughter, Delores Lowe; her dear son, Lennie R. Thomas, Jr.; her sister, Shirley Rist; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Iva was preceded in death by her first husband, Lennie R. Thomas, Sr. Iva was a native of Maryland. She was born in Millersville, Maryland in 1913. She was a charter member of the Glen Burnie Baptist Church for 24 years, at which she was a devoted Sunday School teacher. Iva had many hobbies. She loved gardening, canning, sewing, reading, travelling and going to church. She especially loved spending time with her family. Iva was a lovely woman who will be missed by many.
