Obituary

 

Irene “Rennie” Ann Wilson, 94, a lifelong resident of Linthicum passed away on May 14, 2023. Irene was born on February 17, 1929 in Brooklyn Park to the late Gustave and Irene Yost. She graduated from the University of Baltimore in 1951 and married her husband, Bill Wilson in 1952. Irene was very active in her community and church and was a 50 year member of the Women’s Club. She enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling. She especially loved her dogs.

Along with Irene’s parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Walton “Bill” D. Wilson, and her brother, Gustave Yost, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Kent M. Wilson and Jonathan F. Wilson and his wife, Stephanie Bosley; and her grandchildren, Frankie Wilson and her husband, James Saams; and Camille Bosley.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, May 19th from 11-1 pm. A Graveside service will follow at Lorraine Park Cemetery, Woodlawn at 2 PM.
