Hilda Burkentine

On October 14, 2005, Hilda "Jill" Burkentine of Linthicum passed away. Jill was the devoted wife of the late Raymond E. Burkentine. Her family also included her sons John R. Burkentine and Ray E. Burkentine, Jr.; and her daughter Jill Ann Blunt. Jill was the caring sister of the late Marino Biri, Erena O'Brien and Jane Ziminitski. Jill was a devoted grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 15. She had many hobbies and interests, which included her role as a former commander with the Navy Mothers of Glen Burnie Association, a member of Meals on Wheels, helping as an A.A. County Judge during election time, and was also a Stanley Home Products Representative. She also assisted in the building of homes and was a caregiver to the elderly. Jill was also a member of the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
