Harold Emerson Cromwell, Jr., 79, of Severn, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Harold was born in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Gladys and Harold Cromwell, Sr. After graduating from high school in 1960, Harold enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He proudly served our country in the Air Force, retiring in 1980, as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of faithful service. During his time in the service, Harold served four Presidents on Air Force One as a communications technician, allowing him to travel the world. He went on to work and retired as an Electrical Engineer for Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman, working in Cryptographic Security. Harold continued to work as a contractor with Northrop Grumman until 2020. He was a member of “The Fellas” Social Club and enjoyed hosting and coordinating many events with them. Harold also enjoyed technology, watching T.V. – especially war movies, playing pinochle, and grilling. Most of all, Harold, affectionately known as “Porky,” loved spending time with his family.
