Gordon Hood Obituary
Mr. Gordon R. Hood passed away on October 11, 2005 at the Crofton Convalescent Center. He was 83 years old. Survived by his loving children, Gordon Hood, Jr., and Artlette June McMahan; and 3 grandchildren, Donna Zimmerman, and Wade and Paige Hood; and one great grandchild, Lauren Zimmerman. He was predececeased by his wife of 47 years, Artlette J. Hood.
Born on September 29, 1922, Gordon Hood was a lifelong resident of Severn Maryland. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and followed that with a career as a tank mechanic in the civilian arena. Gordon loved fishing, crabbing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
