Geraldine “Gere” Wolfe

January 12, 1936 – February 24, 2026

Geraldine “Gere” Wolfe, 90, of Peartree assisted living, Pasadena MD, formerly of Ferndale and Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 24th, 2026.  She joins the love of her life Robert Wolfe, a devoted, loving, and strong husband of 62 years of marriage in God’s eternal kingdom.

Gere’s life centered around her cherished family, she is survived by two loving daughters, Cynthia Kingsmore and Deborah Thurston and her son-in-law, Norman Thurston Jr.  Nothing brought her greater happiness than the moments she spent with her cherished granddaughters, Jennifer (Nikki - Kingsmore), Abigail, Lauren and Olivia (Thurston).  They were the lights of her life, and she relished every opportunity to nurture and guide them.

Gere was born in Baltimore, graduated from Southern High school and was an amazing mother and homemaker (domestic engineer as she liked to call it).  She dedicated her life to caring for her family, exemplifying the true essence of motherhood.  Gere loved her time in the sunshine, the beach, gardening, spending time socializing with family and friends and being out and about.

Geraldine's legacy is further touched by the memories of those who have passed before her, including her beloved husband, Robert Wolfe, granddaughter, Jennifer Kingsmore; her brother, Charles Nocar Jr.; and her parents, Helen and Charles Nocar.  Though they are no longer with us, their spirits continue to resonate through the love shared among those left behind.

A celebration of Geraldine’s remarkable life will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A. in Glen Burnie, Maryland.  Visitation will take place on March 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  A joyful Celebration of Life service will follow on March 7, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember a woman who exemplified love, artistry, and unwavering support for those around her.

Geraldine Marie Wolfe will be dearly missed but forever cherished in our hearts.  Her spirit lives on in the memories she created and the love she instilled in her family.
