George Satterfield Obituary

On Friday, April 14, 2006, George Ernest Satterfield passed on. George was predeceased by his lovely wife of 32 years, Louisa Satterfield. He is survived by his dear sons, Victor J. Satterfield and George E. Satterfield, Jr.; his lovely daughter, Patricia A. Hawkins, with whom he resided for 29 years; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. George was a native of Maryland. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1920. He lived in Glen Burnie for 54 years. George served in the U.S. Army 29th Division during World War II. During that time, he was awarded the Bronze Star. He also worked as a mechanic for Bowl America. George enjoyed many hobbies. He loved bowling and dancing. He also enjoyed joking and the laughter that accompanies it. George will be missed by many people.
