Garnet Powell

On February 5, 2006, Garnet Louise Powell passed on. Garnet was a lovely woman who will be missed by many people. Garnet was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Albert Powell, with whom she had a loving, happy marriage. She is survived by her dear son, Gary Powell; and her dear sister, Lollie Arnwine; and two lovely grandchildren. Garnet was predeceased by her brothers Francis, Joseph, Richard and Vincent Flaherty. Garnet was born in Ohio on September 23, 1911. She worked at Westinghouse from which she retired in 1974. Garnet was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. She enjoyed many hobbies which included reading, playing bridge, crochet, and playing the organ. She also travelled with her husband to Japan and California when he was in the military.
