Obituary
Frieda Viola Severe, 95, of Glen Burnie, passed away on January 15, 2023, in her home. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 10, 1927, to the late Bessie and Oswald Voigt. She worked as a supervisor for N.S.A. and she lived in Florida for 30 years. Frieda was very active at Glen Burnie United Methodist Church, and she also liked cleaning, gardening, and traveling. In addition to her parents, Frieda was predeceased by her husband, Warren C. Severe, and her siblings, Oswald Voigt and Florence Purper. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S. W. (at Crain Hwy), on Monday, January 23rd, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, at 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in honor of Frieda, memorial contributions may be made to Glen Burnie United Methodist Church at www.gbumchurch.org
