Francis Byers Obituary

On April 27, 2006, Francis Barton Byers of Glen Burnie passed away at the age of 89. Beloved husband for 61 years to the late Susan Evelyn Byers; Devoted father of William Byers, Dorothy Byers, Elizabeth Aughenbaugh and Peggy Campbell; Loving brother of the late Charlotte Byers and Carl Byers; Cherished grandfather of Len and Randy Morgan. Francis is survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Francis lived in Glen Burnie for 63 years. He retired from IBEW Local #26. He was a member of the Euclid Council #14; Concordia Royal Arch Chapter #1; Monumental Comander #3; Pillar Club of Brooklyn; Arundel Chapter #080 O.E.S., Glen Burnie Lodge #213 AF & AM, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Annapolis Forest #126, Retired Members' Club IBEW Local #26 and of the Glen Burnie United Methodist Church.
