On November 20, 2005, Ernestine J. Murphy of Chester (formerly of Glen Burnie) passed away at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Stewart F. Murphy Sr. for 37 years; Devoted mother of Alice Webb, Valerie Moyer, Sandra Hill, Mary Ann Walton, Edward Murpphy, Francis Finan, Greg Nusz, George Finan, Dale Masser and David Delair; Loving sister of Elenore Russell; Frances Schwin, Irene Williams, Minnie Hogan, Marice Moore, George W. Moore, Richard Moore, Thomas Moore and the late Mary, James and Paul Moore; Cherished grandmother of 30, great-grandmother of 35 and great-great-grandmother of 1.
Ernestine worked as a cook for Mariner Health Care for 10 years. She was a member of the Golden Agers in Harundale and she enjoyed crossword puzzles, crafts and playing bingo.
