Ellen Tate

On January 8, 2006, Ellen Marie Tate passed on. Ellen lived a happy life with her dear family which includes her daughters, Mary Margaret Lyons and Julie Tate Davies; her son Matthew Tate; her son-in-laws, David Lyons and Jay Davies; her daughter-in-law, Michele Tate; her brother Michael Foley; seven grandsons and two granddaughters. Ellen was a resident of Ocean City after living in Glen Burnie, Maryland for many years. She attended the College of Misercordia and was then a teacher at the Anne Arundel County Public Schools for 35 years. She celebrated her religion as a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ocean City. When she was not working, Ellen greatly enjoyed reading, going to the beach, attending church socials, shopping and travelling. She was a dear grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. Ellen was a dear woman who will be missed by many people.
