Edward Rasinski

On May 16, 2006, Edward B. Rasinski passed on. Edward is survived by his dear son, Jimmy Rasinski and his loving nephew, Walter Rasinski. Edward was preceded in death by his lovely wife of 20 years, Elizabeth Rasinski; his brothers, Marion, James, Frank, John and Walter Rasinski; and his sister, Mary Rasinski. Edward was a native of Maryland. He lived in Glen Burnie, Maryland for over 45 years. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, aboard the USS Fletcher, from 1942 until 1945. He earned a Silver Star and three Bronze Stars during his service with the Navy. He then worked as a Longshoreman on the docks in Baltimore for 20 years. Edward was a member of the VFW Post 2462. He also enjoyed many hobbies, especially hunting and fishing. Edward was a good man who will be missed by many.
