Edward Cramer

May 4, 1953 — September 16, 2021

Edward Cramer passed away at 68, on September 16, 2021.  He was born on May 4, 1953. He attended Glen Burnie High School and Anne Arundel Community College.  Ed recently retired from St. Agnes Hospital, where he worked as the Audio Visual Specialist for over 30 years.  Before that, Ed worked as a projectionist at Harundel Cinema for several years which lead him on the path to his career at St Agnes.

As a lover of all things music; In his youth, Ed was a drummer in a band, eventually moving to lead singer.  His favorite band was The Rolling Stones.  Ed also enjoyed movies, yard work, and spending time with family and friends.

He loved history and enjoyed taking  trips to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and loved to collect memorabilia.  Ed also enjoyed yearly trips to the local Renaissance Festival.  His favorite activity was axe and knife throwing with family member, Keith, and daughter, Heather.

Ed was a sentimental and caring person.  He enjoyed taking walks around the local horse farm, and visiting Downs Park with his wife, Brenda.  Practicing pitching with his daughter, Megan, was one of his favorite past times when she was playing softball.  Ed could talk for hours on many different topics.  He found joy in the little things that many take for granted. During storms, Ed would always make sure his loved ones were home, or in a safe place. Afterwards, he would find a rainbow and snap a photo as if it was the first time he ever saw one.  Fourth of July firework events were important to Ed.  His father was a Marine and raised him to love and respect his country.

Ed always had a story to tell and when he gave his daughters advice, although they may not have always seen eye to eye,  they later thought that he was always right.  Ed was present for every birthday, softball game, dance recital, school play, and graduation for his daughters, camera in hand; which continued with his grandsons.

Ed is survived by his devoted wife Brenda, two loving daughters Megan Davis and Heather Geho, two precious grandchildren Jack & Parker; and another grandchild on the way, and brother Donald Cramer II.  Ed was proceeded  in death by his parents Donald and Eloise Cramer. He will be greatly missed by all.
