Dorothy Newland Obituary

On May 14, 2006, Dorothy J. Newland of Glen Burnie passed away from natural causes. She is the loving mother of Ruth Marie Vague, Kathryn Sue Ware, Terri Lynn Newland, William Everett Newland, Jr., and Thomas Andrew Newland; devoted sister to Carol Bradford; and cherished grandmother to Hope Lynette Gonzalez, Thomas James Ware, and Alex Yelle. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer, Eldon, Edwin, and Ronald Hedlund, and three sisters, Evelyn Staples, Elaine Newkirk, and Helen Mandille. Dorothy greatly enjoyed spending time with her cat, PJ, and reading. Services for Dorothy are to follow in Bellevue, Washington.
