On October 29, 2005, Dorothy May Meyd of Severn passed away. Beloved wife of the late Paul C. Meyd for 54 years; Cherished mother of Robert J. Meyd, Darlene B. Bezelik, Beverly M. Bosjlie, William G. Meyd, Paulette K. Meyd, Deborah A. Stocksdale, Sharon M. Meyd and Janet M. Meyd; Loving sister of Mary Meyer and Gertrude Meyd; Dearest grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 1. She is predeceased by one sister and three brothers.

Dorothy worked for the Department of Defense as a secretary until she retired. She enjoyed watching the news, reading and watching religious programs.
